Jarek Campbell joined the MEF Board in 2025 and is the Sponsorship Committee Chair in 2025 after serving as an advisor for Service Without Borders for two years. Jarek works as the Assistant Director of Recruitment for the College of Natural Resources and Environment, Virginia Tech, where he received his BA and MS in Geography. He was a student member of SWB Tanzania for four years, and has traveled to EEMPS four times. Jarek loves teaching, and he plans to become a Geography instructor in the near future. His areas of expertise are in human-environment interactions, GIS and Cartography, and Cultural Geography. He’s incorporated his experiences and knowledge from his travels to Engaruka into his classes, and looks forward to returning to EEMPS as often as he can.
