Engaruka Community Initiative Organization (ENCO) is a registered NGO in Tanzania led by Martha Mereso Sengeruan, the Executive Director. ENCO oversees planning, construction and operation of the Engaruka school. In addition, ENCO strives to improve the lives of vulnerable women and children living in rural Maasai communities through health services, education support, and economic empowerment.

Service Without Borders (SWB) is a student-led Virginia Tech organization whose mission is to share the spirit of the college’s motto, Ut Prosim (That I May Serve), locally and globally. SWB raises funds to support the Engaruka school and student travel expenses to assist in construction and volunteer teaching.
The Maasai Education Society (MES) is a Canadian charity that believes that education equals empowerment. They provide sponsorships and assist with capital improvements at the Engaruka school as it expands to accommodate more children.
